There is a great gap between institutional life and living in the community.
The Community Re-Entry Mentor Program offers a Christ-centered curriculum program to the men and women who have been released from jail or prison and who are under correctional supervision, i.e. probation, parole, homeless, and/or in treatment.
The program is having a positive effect to the men and woman reintegrating back into society. Most importantly, the group offers friendships and Christian fellowship.
Studies have shown that if people donโt find a new set of friends and revert to their old companions, they invariably recommit and find themselves back incarcerated.
