I am the Lord, I have called you in righteousness, and will hold your hand and watch over you and I will appoint you as a covenant to the people, as a light to the Nations, to open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the prison, and those who dwell in darkness from the prison house

 Isaiah 42:6-7

Mission Statement

Bridge Prison Ministry is a faith-base charitable organization that serves inmates preparing to transition from incarceration to successful restoration into the community, family and reconciliation to God.

Our vision is to see the ex-prisoner establish a firm foundation with Jesus Christ and live a transformed life as he/she becomes a productive member of society. The overarching goal is to decrease the revolving door of recidivism and increase public safety.

Bridge Prison Ministry is a Christ-centered 501(c)3 ministry geared towards the success of prisoners, ex-prisoners and the families of the incarcerated.  The ministry has been operational since 2007 and has successfully functioned as an all volunteer prison ministry in Tucson AZ. Pete and Sandy Quinonez are the Founders and Directors of Bridge Prison Ministry.

BPM trains and equips volunteers and churches how to become a “Bridge” church for ex-offenders transitioning from incarceration into the church community.  Under the leadership of Pete and Sandy Quinonez the Community Reentry Team was established, which is a network of  several “Bridge” churches, in the Tucson area.  Our heart and compassion is for the ex-offender and their families to have a church community where they can grow and belong.

For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:12

From Incarceration to Community Re-Entry:

The Community Reentry Program is a Christ-centered aftercare program that serves men and woman who have been released from jail or prison and who are under supervision i.e. probation, parole, and/or treatment.

What We Do:

Bridge Prison Ministry is impacting the lives of men and woman inside prison walls in miraculous ways as well as for the men and woman transitioning into society.

Through our pre-release and post release programs participants are equipped and empowered to successfully reintegrate from life behind bars into society.  Men and woman are rebuilding their lives, finding employment, safe housing and restoration back into the community.

The Gospel is having a rippling effect. When the Lord changes an inmate's life, a positive impact is also made on his family and society.
