Transportation “Meet me at the Gate”

When a prisoner first walks out of the prison gate.  What happens next is crucial to their successful reentry.

Within the first three hours after their release, everything about their life will radically change. Whether it changes for good or bad usually depends on who meets them at the gate.  Bridge Prison Ministry is a key part of the inmate’s plans for release day and make it a standard practice to establish face-to-face contact with the participant on their release     day.  The support Bridge Prison Ministry provides is vital during the first few hours the participant’s freedom.

Bridge Prison Ministry volunteers along with a team member(s) will meet and pick up the participant at the gate of the Correction Facility and transport participant to a safe transitional home.
