About Us

BPM History

Bridge Prison Ministry is a Christ-centered 501(c)3 ministry geared towards the success of prisoners, ex-prisoners and the families of the incarcerated.  The ministry has been operational since 2007 and has successfully functioned as an all volunteer prison ministry in Tucson AZ.

Pete and Sandy Quinonez are the Founders and Directors of Bridge Prison Ministry.

CRT “Bridge” Church Leadership:

Under the leadership of Pete and Sandy the Community Reentry Team was established, which is a network of several “Bridge” churches, in the Tucson area.

Become a “Bridge” church for ex-offenders and their families. A place where they can grow and belong. BPM trains and equips the churches who are interested in starting a prison ministry.

Serving together as the Body of Christ and impacting the lives of  prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families.

For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:12

From Incarceration to Community Re-Entry:

There is a great gap between institutional life and living in the community. The Reentry Mentor Support Group is designed to be a bridge between in and out.

BPM serves men and woman who have been released from jail or prison and who are under supervision i.e. probation, parole, and/or treatment.  Mentors walks alongside providing guidance, moral and spiritual support. The mentor give the mentee three things hope, someone who believes in them and determination.

Studies have shown that if the returning citizen does not find a new set of friends and revert to their old companions, they invariably recommit and find themselves back incarcerated.  Making new friends and developing healthy relationship is not easy.  BPM is bridging the gap!

Our Future

With the release of over 6,000 offenders nationally last year and the projected release of even more in the coming years, now is the time to expand and meet the needs of this growing re-entry population.  Your giving can make the biggest impact in the lives of the children and families we serve.
